In VMWare for Windows I get a MSI installation Error when I try to install the manual

This issue is caused when there is a conflict with files in your temporary directory. It should be a quick fix.

To sort the issue. Make sure anything VMware related is closed and that you are logged into Windows as an administrator. Then you need to clear the contents of your Temp directory.

To do this, open a File Explorer window, then type TEMP and press Enter. Now select and delete all files.

That should do it. Attempt to install it again and it all should go through ok.
